Seeing redirect to image source rather than cacheing

Today I could see when I visit https://cdn.statically.io/img/i.imgur.com/58T3Wrl.png?w=15h=15&f=auto it redirects me to https://i.imgur.com/58T3Wrl.png, later when I look at it, it works fine. Why is this happen?

Hi there @cdn, a really good question!

The redirect system only works when the CDN’s first-byte response to the end-user is slow and longer than 3 seconds. In the background, Statically checks the image, stores it in the cache, when the cache is available, the image will be served from cdn.statically.io and not the original URL (no redirects at this point). This approach is taken in case the image is too large or too long to load so that we can provide a more reliable service for all.

Oh! Great. Thanks for the reply.
